A previously unknown score by Franz Liszt will be auctioned Friday by Sotheby's in London. The work for piano is unsigned, undated and untitled, but Liszt scholars were nonetheless able to identify it as belonging to the composer, who--they said--wrote it in his late teens or early 20s, between 1830 and 1832. The work "just sort of walked in" to Sotheby's last year, a spokesman said. It was owned privately.
