ARTHUR ON THE ROCKS (Warner Bros.). Shooting in NYC and L.A. Dudley Moore, Liza Minnelli and Sir John Gielgud (as an illusion, since his character died in the first episode) reprise their roles in "Arthur." Producer Robert Shapiro. Director Bud Yorkin. Screenwriter Andy Breckman.

CRITTERS II (New Line). Shooting in L.A. Sci-fi modern romance sequel pitting the ferocious little fuzzballs against an entire city this time around. Producer Barry Opper. Director/screenwriter Mick Garris. Stars Terrence Mann, Scott Grimes and Herda Wear. Summer release.

HEART OF MIDNIGHT (AG). Shooting in Charleston, S.C. Peter Coyote and Jennifer Jason Leigh star in a drama about one woman's morality after having been romantically bruised earlier in life. Producer Andrew Gaty. Director/screenwriter Matthew Chapman. Also stars Brenda Vaccaro and Frank Stallone.

HOMEBOY (Homeboy). Shooting in Asbury Park, N.J. Tale of aspiring boxer Mickey Rourke, who gets in the fight game thanks to a favor he did for the Mob. Producers Alan Marshall and Elliott Kastner. Director Michael Seresin. With Christopher Walken.

TAX SEASON (Movidex). Shooting in L.A. Comedy about a conservative CPA from Cleveland who moves out to Hollywood and invests heavily in a tax firm populated by loonies. Executive producer Thomas J. Davies. Director/screenwriter Tom Law. Stars Fritz Bronner, James Hong, Arte Johnson, Prof. Toru Tanaka, Bunny Summers and Clive Rosengren. Spring release.
