A Security Pacific Bank branch in the 700 block of Pacific Coast Highway was robbed at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, authorities said.

The robber ordered a teller to give him money, then fled on foot, police said. He was last seen running south on Pacific Coast Highway, they said.

The robber was described as Caucasian, about six feet tall with a medium build and short blond hair, and wearing a thin beige jacket, a white T-shirt and dark blue pants, police said.
