Three men suspected of stealing 25 tons of food Thanksgiving Day from the South-Central Los Angeles warehouse of an organization formed by celebrities to feed the needy have been arrested, police said Wednesday.
Clifton Bryant, 30; James Faine Jr., 25, and Dale Murrell, 33, all of Los Angeles, were arrested on suspicion of breaking into the warehouse of Love Is Feeding Everyone, or LIFE, and stealing the food and various office equipment, Detective Rich Martinez said.
Bryant was being held without bail due to a parole violation, Martinez said. The two other men were being held in lieu of bail. A small quantity of food and an office typewriter were recovered during the arrests, Martinez said.
