Columbia Savings & Loan Assn. announced that its board and the state Department of Savings and Loan have approved a program under which Beverly Hills-based Columbia may repurchase up to $30 million worth of its common stock . . . Giant Group Ltd. has retained Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. to advise the Beverly Hills company on inquiries concerning the possible sale of its cement operations . . . Pan Am Corp. directors met, reportedly to discuss proposed wage and work rule concessions by Pan American World Airways' pilots and an offer by Braniff Inc. to buy the airline but adjourned until Wednesday with no announcement . . . Goodyear Tire & Rubber of Akron, Ohio, has completed the previously announced sale of Celeron Oil & Gas to New York-based Exxon for slightly less that $650 million. Celeron operates 450 oil wells in Kern County.
