Veteran Israeli statesman Abba Eban testified behind closed doors at the trial of Mordechai Vanunu, a former Israeli nuclear technician accused of leaking state atomic secrets to a British newspaper. Eban, a former foreign minister, now heads the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee of Israel's Parliament.
