Advanced Micro Devices, which said last month that it planned to lay off 500 workers from its offices in Texas and California, disclosed that all but 50 of the layoffs will occur in Sunnyvale, Calif., where it is based . . . San Diego-based Pacific Southwest Airlines flew a record 359,989,000 revenue passenger miles in November, an increase of 10.6% from November, 1986 . . . San Luis Obispo--based Wings West Airlines, doing business as American Eagle, reported that it flew 11.96 million revenue passenger miles in November, up 95.9% from a year earlier.
