U.S. District Judge Robert E. Keeton, presiding over the conspiracy trial of Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr., six aides and five of his political organizations, refused to dismiss eight jurors who know a former LaRouche aide was convicted on a related charge. However, Keeton agreed to a defense request to postpone opening statements a day until Thursday. The defendants are charged with conspiring to obstruct a federal grand jury probe of alleged credit card and loan fraud by followers of LaRouche.
