The San Francisco 49ers reported that quarterback Joe Montana may miss the remaining two regular-season games and that top linebacker Keena Turner needs knee surgery and will be lost for the rest of the season.

Montana has a torn hamstring that will keep him out of Sunday's game against Atlanta and there is a good chance he will miss the final game against the Rams, Coach Bill Walsh said.
