Alvand Land Development Co. of Tustin paid $1.9 million for 2.45 acres in Anaheim and plans to develop a hotel there.

The company is selling the parcel at 100 W. Freedman Way was ABCO Group Inc. of Torrance. Coldwell Banker arranged the transaction.

Alvand officials could not be reached for comment on what type of hotel is planned. While the county's hotel market is generally considered to be overbuilt, Anaheim hotels have been doing better than average because of the brisk convention and tourist business in that city.
