Former Ohio State football Coach Earle Bruce said he would like to be considered for the coaching position at Arizona State, a job that became vacant when John Cooper accepted Bruce's old job.

Interviewed by NBC at halftime of the Fiesta Bowl, Bruce said he also would like to be considered for the vacancy at Southern Methodist.

"I'm unemployed; I'm looking for work," Bruce said. "I would consider any job offer right now."
