Anaheim police said Daniel Charles Briggs of Mt. Prospect, Ill., suffered major head and upper body injuries when his 1987 Kawasaki hit a curb about 11:45 p.m. Friday, skidded into a telephone pole and slammed into the rear of a Ford pickup truck stopped at the intersection.
