When it comes to getting laughs, Dom DeLuise is a real cutup. But in his present series, "The Dom DeLuise Show," he's more of a cutup than ever.

DeLuise plays the owner of a barber shop that is conveniently located across from a movie studio, which means a wide assortment of characters can pass through the doors. Some of the regulars include Charlie Callas, Lois Foraker, George Wallace, Maureen Murphy, Angela Aames and Lauren Woodland.

The first-year syndicated show, for which Greg Garrison is producer-director, airs Fridays at 7:30 p.m. on KCBS-TV Channel 2.
