EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New Jersey Nets traded center Mike Gminski and forward Ben Coleman to the Philadelphia 76ers Saturday night in exchange for center Tim McCormick, forward Roy Hinson and a draft choice.

The Nets will get a 1989 second-round pick that Philadelphia acquired from Chicago in a prior trade.

New Jersey also agreed to waive its right to a conditional 1990 second-round pick from Philadelphia, which was part of the deal that sent Albert King from the Nets to the 76ers earlier this season.

The 6-foot 11-inch Gminski is averaging nearly 17 points and 10 rebounds a game this season.
