The new owner of Denny's restaurant chain plans to provide quicker service, pare back its menu and come up with new products, especially for the troubled dinner business, the chairman of TW Services said. "Denny's is the big area of attention for us right now," Frank L. Salizzoni told Dow Jones News Service. TW intends to expand the 1,200-outlet chain, primarily through franchising, and intends to spend $50 million this year to refurbish locations. Salizzoni also plans to add 60 outlets this year to El Pollo Loco, an 84-store grilled-chicken chain owned by Denny's.
