The Board of Directors has approved hiring six parking enforcement officers, doubling the city's current force.
The new officers will begin writing parking tickets Feb. 1, concentrating on rush-hour violators along major thoroughfares such as Arroyo Parkway, Los Robles, Marengo and El Molino avenues and California Boulevard.
