Comedian Carol Burnett will visit the Soviet Union and address television viewers there on ways of combating alcoholism and drug addiction. According to Reuters, Burnett has agreed to describe her experience of growing up with alcoholic parents as part of the U.S.-Soviet campaign against alcohol and drug abuse. Burnett reportedly will appear with her 23-year-old actress daughter, Carrie Hamilton, a rehabilitated drug abuser.
