February 07, 1988

The body of an Arleta man, his upper body riddled with bullet and stab wounds, was found in a car parked along a remote canyon road south of Sun Valley Saturday, Los Angeles police said.

Detective James Vojtecky said an area resident discovered the body of Guadalupe Ramirez, 27, about 8:30 a.m. in a 1973 car parked on a dirt turnout along La Tuna Canyon Road, two miles west of the Foothill Freeway. Investivators had no suspects and the motive for the killing was unknown, Vojtecky said.
