An unidentified man was killed early Sunday when his car veered out of control on an Anaheim street, skidded into a lane of oncoming vehicles and was broadsided by another car, authorities said.
Anaheim police said the 26-year-old victim, whose name was being withheld until relatives were notified, was driving eastbound in the 1200 block of E. South Street at 1:37 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. His car skidded into the opposite lane, where it was hit by a car going westbound.
The driver of the second car, 31-year-old Ruben David Sanchez of Anaheim, was not injured.
The victim was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 3:35 a.m., authorities said.
