Belgian Cyclist Wins 412-Mile Race in Spain

GRANADA, Spain — Edwig Van Hooydonck of Belgium won the Six Sun Route cycling race, and Dutch rider Adrie Van Der Poel took the fifth and last leg of the 412-mile race Sunday.

Van Der Poel was clocked in 3 hours 57 minutes 17 seconds for the 85-mile leg from Malaga. He won in a final sprint to the finish line involving all 111 riders from 14 countries who took part in the race.
