Taking a cue from their neighboring city, Holyoke, Chicopee, Mass., aldermen agreed Tuesday night to let the town's residents to decide whether to welcome actress Jane Fonda if she comes to town to film scenes for her new movie "Union Street." Under consideration by the aldermen is a resolution saying that Fonda, who became controversial for her outspoken statements and actions during the Vietnam War, would not be welcome in Chicopee. Aldermen in Holyoke passed a similar resolution, 11 to 4, two weeks ago.
