Treasures of the Aztecs are on display at Brussels' Royal Museum of Art and History for the first time since 1520, when Charles of Spain displayed the plunder brought home from the New World by Hernando Cortes. The exhibit's 350 objects range from the Olmek civilization of about 1,000 BC to the 16th Century. Twenty-nine museums in Europe and the Americas contributed items that include giant statues, masks and jewelry. The museum expects 250,000 visitors before the show moves to Athens in April.
