Leslie Rathbun scored 17 of her team's 21 second-half points to lead Woodbridge High School to a 51-48 victory over La Habra in a Southern Section 2-A second-round girls' basketball game Wednesday at La Habra.

Rathbun, a sophomore point guard, finished with 23 points despite being held to six points in the first half.

Woodbridge (22-5) will play St. Mary's in the quarterfinals Saturday.

Kathy Millat, Woodbridge's leading scorer during the regular season, was limited to eight points before she fouled out with six minutes to play.

"I don't like to be a ball hog," Rathbun said. "But when Kathy fouled out, I had to take up the slack."

La Habra (20-7) rallied from a six-point second-half deficit to lead, 44-42, early in the fourth quarter. Robin Seabrook led La Habra in the second half with 11 points.

But Rathbun helped Woodbridge get back in control. Her three-point basket with 2:45 left gave Woodbridge a 49-45 lead.
