Chapel Plans Body-Imaging Classes

Calvary Chapel of Capistrano Beach, 25975 Domingo Ave., Capistrano Beach, will hold a six-week weight management and body-imaging workshop beginning April 11, continuing each Monday through May 16

A broad spectrum of areas to be covered will include: nutritional education, psychological and spiritual aspects of weight and body image, as well as various motivational and behavioral modification techniques.

The series, to be conducted by Dr. Barry Slone, a member of the medical staff of both Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo and San Clemente General Hospital, will be held Monday evenings, once from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., then again from 7 to 8 p.m. The cost is $150, which is covered under some insurance plans.

The Mission Viejo Day chapter of Women's Aglow Fellowship will hold its monthly meeting, starting with a continental breakfast, at 8:45 a.m. April 19 at the Holiday Inn, 25205 E. Metropolitan Opera basso Jerome Hines will be in concert Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 600 St. Andrews Road, Newport Beach. Hines will sing a variety of music, including opera, classic favorites, Broadway, musical comedy and familiar hymns. The concert is free but an offering will be taken. Dr. Arthur Green will discuss "Reading the Cabala . . . Jewish Spirituality for Our Times" in the final lecture of the 1988 Jewish Community Forum lecture series April 17.
