When the $30-million, 150,000-square-foot Sherman Plaza West office building is completed in November, it will also end a 5-year project to bring a Ventura Boulevard-class building to the heart of Van Nuys.
That's the word from Jack M. Nagel, president of owner/developer Nagel Construction Co., describing his pioneering effort on Sherman Way at Sepulveda Boulevard.
The newest building is designed by the Nadel Partnership of West Los Angeles to complement Sherman Plaza East. Both office buildings are set back from Sherman Way and share a private access road.
"Nagel Construction was essentially the first developer to introduce a major top-quality office project to the Van Nuys area," said Steve Valenziano of the Faulkner Co., leasing agent.
