Praising 'Something'

May 14, 1988

It's ironic that Calendar would state that the top-rated NBC miniseries "Something Is Out There" was "roundly booed by critics" (Morning Report, May 11).

In fact, it was widely praised by critics across the country, including reviewers from the Washington Post, USA Today, the Chicago Tribune--and the Los Angeles Times.

Your own reviewer, Terry Atkinson, called it a "way-above average TV movie" that had "style and ingenuity" and was "an exciting, scary, funny, rip-roaring science-fiction thriller" (TV Review, May 6).
