I am writing in response to the letter written by M. Mast of Idyllwild (Viewers' Views, April 17). On behalf of all of us who labor to make "9 to 5" worthy of your time and praise, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, not only for watching, but for your kind words and letter to The Times. We have only been on the air for two seasons now, and yet we've been shuffled around by KTTV into at least four or five different time slots. It may hurt our self-esteem to be on Saturdays at 10:30 p.m., but it hurts a lot less than other time slots we've had such as midnight on Sundays or 11:30 on Sunday mornings. You can well imagine the dismay and frustration felt by those of us who put in 60 or 70 hours per week to make "9 to 5" a show we're all proud of. Once again, thanks for your kind words. Keep watching.
