I am writing in response to The Times editorial May 22 endorsing Nathan Rosenberg for Congress. I know the pickings are slim this year. But really.
I do have questions about Rosenberg's potential for running the government based on his involvement with est. The professed purpose of the Hunger Project is to eradicate hunger. They proposed to do this not by giving people food, but by telling everyone about the problem. Is this the kind of dewy-eyed thinking that Nathan Rosenberg will bring to Washington?
If Nathan Rosenberg is the best we can do, it's a shame there isn't a box on the ballot marked "none of the above."
