18 Injured as 9 Vehicles Crash on Mississippi Road

PASCAGOULA, Miss. — Five trucks and four other vehicles piled up in a series of accidents Thursday on smoke-shrouded Interstate 10, killing one driver and injuring 18 people, authorities said. The accidents began after dense smoke from a woods fire reduced visibility on the highway.
