The family of Hazel Rheinschild of Laguna Hills, who died June 5, said this week that interment will be in Inglewood. She was 86 and had been in ill health for two years.
Mrs. Rheinschild, a resident of Leisure World, was a member of the Laguna Hills Art Assn. Her oil paintings were exhibited extensively in Southern California, and she taught art at her home studio.
Born in Wallace, Ida., she grew up in the Seattle area where she attended the University of Washington and studied art.
She later moved to Los Angeles and married Rudolph Waldo Rheinschild, who served as assistant regional administrator for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Los Angeles. Her husband died in 1985 after a 60-year marriage.
She is survived by two sons, Rudolph William Rheinschild of Laguna Hills and Dr. Gary Wayne Rheinschild of Tustin, five grandchildren and a brother, William Leroy Allard Jr. of Laguna Niguel.
A gathering was held in her memory Sunday, and family members said that her ashes will be interred within 10 days but that no date has been set.
