FOR THE RECORD
Los Angeles Times Thursday July 14, 1988 Orange County Edition Orange County Life Part 9 Page 2 Column 1 Life Desk 2 inches; 43 words Type of Material: Correction
The Thursday, July 7, Clipboard comparing monthly police salaries in Orange County's cities inadvertently listed the range for Fountain Valley as $1,239-$1,506 and showed uniforms as being supplied by the city. The correct range is $2,479-$3,013 and the city provides a $50-per-month uniform allowance.

* Supplied by city

** If cash allowance is provided, monthly amount or equivalent is reported with an "A," if agency provides and/or launders uniforms, monthly dollar equivalent is reported with a "B."

*** Brea department also polices Yorba Linda.

**** Contracted to Orange County Sheriff's Department

n/a: In or about to go into negotiations for contract
