Drug Use

July 08, 1988

The Times carried a story of a drug investigation in Washington (Part I, July 1). As a result of this investigation, two National Security Council employees have resigned and three Secret Service agents placed on administrative leave. (The President said that they deserve rehabilitation and a second chance; apparently the zero tolerance approach has a forgiving side closer to home.)

This story confirms what many of us knew years ago. Say no to drugs; get rid of the dope in the White House.
