"California Dreamin' " will be the theme as the sixth annual "Miss Teen U.S.A. Pageant" takes the air Monday at 9 p.m. on CBS (Channels 2 and 8). It's an appropriate tag, in that the pageant is taking place in California (San Bernardino) and the 51 teens competing will be dreamin' of going home with the title.

Dick Clark and Tracy Scoggins will host the event, which will bring to a close the reign of Kristi Addis, the current Miss Teen U.S.A.

California is also hosting another pageant on TV this week: The "Miss California U.S.A. Pageant," staged in Palm Springs, will air Saturday at 8 p.m. on Channels 9 and 42. Bob Eubanks will preside over the annual competition that leads the winner to the Miss U.S.A. Pageant.
