Assistant U.S. Trade Representative Bruce Wilson said the effort to end subsidies to Airbus Industrie, the European plane manufacturing consortium, was at an impasse and trade action was being weighed by the Reagan Administration. Wilson told the Washington Aero Club that U.S. officials had tried for more than two years to end Airbus' billions of dollars in subsidies and its unfair marketing practices.
