A coroner's spokesman said drowning was the cause of death of a 5-year-old boy who lost consciousness while playing in 3 feet of water in a pool at a swimming camp in the hills above Brentwood.
Michael Segall of Beverly Hills, a non-swimmer, was among 25 youngsters playing in the pool at the Tumbleweed Camp Monday afternoon. Three lifeguards were at the scene, a camp spokesman said.
