A group including Quantum Fund N.V. and George Soros has acquired a 7% stake in IDB Communications Group Inc. as an investment, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The group bought 344,500 of the Culver City-based company's common shares at $8.25 to $11.25 each from July 5 to August 8.
