Seeking The Gold was made a 7-5 favorite on the morning line for today's $1-million Super Derby IX at Louisiana Downs in Bossier City, La.

Seeking The Gold, who lost by a nose to Forty Niner in both the Haskell Invitational and the Travers Stakes, will face eight rivals in the 1-mile race, which pays $600,000 to the winner.

Private Terms is the second choice at 5-2, and Lively One is 9-2. Others are Primal and Jim's Orbit, 10-1; Happyasalark Tomas, 15-1; Blade Of The Ball and Silver Circus, 20-1, and Tiger Star, 30-1.

Pat Day will ride Seeking The Gold; Chris Antley will be aboard Private Terms; Chris McCarron will be on Jim's Orbit, and Bill Shoemaker will have Lively One.
