Miles Davis Collapses on Tour

MADRID — American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis collapsed after a concert in Madrid and has canceled a show in Barcelona, his promoters said today.

"At the end of the concert in Madrid he fainted . . . the doctor has told him not to move," a spokesman for the Barcelona concert promoters said. Davis, 61, suffered from exhaustion after the concert on Tuesday. It was not clear whether he would continue his European tour.
