The Angels' Selection of Rader Is Already Attracting Criticism

I should have known the Angels would come up with someone like Doug Rader rather than Jim Lefebvre.

If major league experience is a criterion, then let Mike Port explain Tom Lasorda and Davey Johnson, two who succeeded without it, let alone Sparky Anderson.

Rader's background certifies him as a clown--a second-class one at that.
