Location: Between Seal Beach and Huntington Beach, at the west end of Edinger Avenue.
Description: All types of small pleasure craft ply the waters of this harbor in Anaheim Bay, which offers more than 220 private boat slips operated by private concessionaires. Guest slips are available for overnight rental and a launch ramp is provided for trailer boating enthusiasts. Boat repair facilities are also available. Picnic shelters and restrooms are provided in park-like turfed areas. The aquatic park is on the edge of the Anaheim Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
History: Construction on the aquatic park started in 1963 on 95 acres of tidal marshlands, most of which was once part of the Naval Ammunition Station in Seal Beach. Future development is expected to include a campground, a wildlife observation area, additional boat slips and boat storage.
Operating hours: The aquatic park is a 24-hour facility.
Fees: No entrance fees are charged. The launch ramp and boat slips are operated for a fee by private concessionaires.
