SACRAMENTO — Sheriff's deputies found a woman and two men shot to death in a suburban house after an 8-year-old boy called 911 and alerted authorities, Sacramento County sheriff's officials said.
The boy discovered his mother at 6:20 a.m., called the emergency number and told officers that she was dead, said sheriff's Lt. Ray Biondi. When deputies arrived, they found the woman on the living room floor, one man slumped on a couch and the second man in a bedroom that had been converted into an office. Biondi said the three adults, all in their 20s, had been shot to death. "The motive appears to be robbery," he said, adding that the killings also appeared to be drug-related.
