Interfaith Rally Planned to Fight Anti-Semitism

"Operation Stop Hate," a 45-minute interfaith rally denouncing anti-Semitism, will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 25 in Fullerton.

Scheduled to speak at the rally are the Rev. Robert H. Schuller, pastor of the Crystal Cathedral; Chuck Smith, pastor of Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa; David Hocking, pastor of Calvary Church of Santa Ana; Tim Timmons, pastor of the South Coast Community Church, and representatives from the Catholic Diocese of Orange.

The rally will be held at Temple Beth Tikvah, 1600 N. Acacia Ave., Fullerton. It is sponsored by Costa Mesa-based Shalom International.

After the rally, a meeting will be held to organize the Southern California Christian Task Force Against Anti-Semitism, a group that drew support from more than 100 evangelical ministers in Orange and Los Angeles counties when it was first announced in November, 1987.
