In advance of a long-awaited report on the county's transportation needs into the next century, the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday created a five-member task force to analyze the report's findings.
The task force, composed of one member from each of the five supervisors' staffs, will review the 20-year master plan that is scheduled for release by the Orange County Transportation Commission in early March. The report will examine transportation needs, alternatives and ways to finance new roads and public transit systems.
