In tribute to the legendary silent film star, KCET Channel 28 will air a three-part, three-hour biography of Hollywood's favorite tramp tonight, beginning at 9 p.m. The video profile covers his early years with the Mutual Film Co., his efforts to make it as an independent film maker and director and an examination of several abandoned films he made for fun. James Mason narrates the programs, which include clips and outtakes from many of Chaplin's greatest movies.
Tarzan and his pal Cheetah leave the jungle tonight at 9 p.m. on Channels 2 and 8 in the TV movie "Tarzan in Manhattan." Model Joe Lara stars as Tarzan.
