SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Amdahl Corp. said it has added three more models to its 5990 Series of mainframe computers, it was announced Tuesday.
The additions to the 5990s, which have larger increments between upgrades and a higher upper limit on performance, include the 5990-350 uniprocessor, 5990-500 dual processor and 5990-1100 three-way multiprocessor.
