A 48-year-old man was found shot to death early today near the Santa Ana mobile home park where he lived.
Police found the man, whose name was not yet released, at 2:44 a.m. on the 1900 block of South Oak Street. He had been shot in the head and upper body.
Police said residents of the park, at 515 E. St. Andrew Place, reported hearing several shots and saw a car speeding away. The car has not been identified. Neighbors told police the man usually arrived home between 2 and 3 a.m. and said they had not heard any commotion from his home in the past.
