The Newport Harbor benefit cruise aboard the Pacific Hornblower on April 7 netted about $10,000 for the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California, Orange County Region. Kevin Deighan was chairman.

The "Antique Lecture and Luncheon" on March 30 at the Westin South Coast Plaza hotel in Costa Mesa netted about $15,000 for the Virginia Castle Auxiliary of the Assistance League of Newport Beach. Lynn Cornell was chairwoman.

The "Save the Gym" dinner-auction on April 8 at the Boys and Girls Club of the Harbor Area netted about $12,000. Harlan Andersen was chairman.

The luncheon on April 10 at the Red Lion Inn in Costa Mesa for the Women's Division of the Jewish Federation of Orange County netted about $150,000 in pledges for the United Jewish Fund campaign. Eileen Garbutt and Miki Scholkoff were co-chairwomen.

"An Affair to Remember V" luncheon and fashion show on April 14 at the Ritz-Carlton in Dana Point netted about $16,000 for the Laguna Philharmonic Committee. Marijane Ashoff was chairwoman.

The preview cocktail party celebrating the opening of the Yankee Tavern restaurant in Newport Beach on April 14 netted about $10,000 for the Associates of Hoag Heart Institute. Sue Perwozski was chairwoman.

The "Gangsters and Molls" dinner-dance on April 15 at the Balboa Bay Club netted about $5,000 for the Guys and Dolls Chapter of the Guilds of the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Mildred Mead was chairwoman.
