BALTIMORE — The 6-year-old son of Tennessee Sen. Albert Gore Jr. went home from the hospital in a body cast today, three weeks after being hit by a car.
Albert Gore III was wheeled from his room at Johns Hopkins Children's Center and driven home to Arlington, Va., by his parents. He suffered a broken rib, fractures of the thigh bone, a ruptured spleen, bruised lung and a concussion when he let go of his father's hand and ran into the path of a car after attending the Baltimore Orioles' opening day game April 3.
