May 25, 1989|From Associated Press

HONG KONG — About 100,000 people jammed the neon-lighted, rainy streets of Hong Kong on Wednesday for a fifth straight day to support the pro-democracy movement in China.

Students, teachers, workers and clerks marched through Causeway Bay, a major shopping district.

The marchers paralyzed traffic for two hours, chanting "Support Beijing students!"
