Bush Picks Washington Attorney for EPA Post

WASHINGTON — President Bush on Tuesday nominated Timothy Atkeson, a Washington lawyer, to be assistant Environmental Protection Agency administrator for international affairs. If confirmed by the Senate, he would help coordinate policy on such issues as global warming, ozone depletion and tropical deforestation.
